Hawaii Outdoors Institute is an outdoor adventure and education program for teens.  Our mission is to foster a love of the outdoors in young people which inspires environmental stewardship in future leaders.  We specialize in custom adventures for school groups (7th-12th graders) throughout the year.  We also offer Summer courses for individual students ages 12-17, which are open enrollment.  During our courses, explore pristine valleys and swim in waterfall pools.  Learn to sail your own boat on Hilo Bay.  Discover the biodiversity of the islands at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.  Snorkel Hawaii’s best reefs.  Learn the value of service while restoring native Hawaiian forests.  Improve leadership skills through exciting outdoor challenges.  Ready for adventure?

“Elizabeth had a blast!  She has repeatedly asked about going back next summer.  It was an incredible experience for her; from traveling solo, being away from family for an extended time, developing friendships with other wonderful teens, and participating in new and exciting activities.  All that, and Hawaii too!  I would love for her to join you again.”                                                         Parents of Elizabeth H.,    San Diego, CA
